The 27th Exhibition of Contemporary Art on the Occasion of Silpa Bhirasri Day

27 years ago a famous Thai Artist called Silpa Bhirasai created the opportunity for young artists to exhibit their work at silibangong University Bangkok, this idea quickly became very popular with many young artists as up until this point the youth had very little opportunity to display their work.

The idea to allow youth, in particular students, to showcase their work eventually went nationwide. To the point where by on the 3rd of May of each year major art galleries throughout the thai kingdom, hold an exhibition to
Allow students to exhibit their works as well as commemarate the efforts and brilliance of one of Thailand’s most highly acclaimed artist.


Faculty of Finearts,Chiangmai university and Silpakorn University, invites you to the opening ceremony for the 27th Exhibition of Contemporary Art by Young artists on the Occasion of Silpa Bhirasri Day

The exhibition will be on view until May 30 ,2011
(Tuesday – Sunday 09.00 am – 05.00 pm ,closed on Monday)
