Program Coordinator
Responsibilities: • Work under the supervision of the Program Director • Assist Program Director to develop Program Strategic Plan and ensure its implementation • Assist Program Director to develop systematic project monitoring systems • Facilitate the implementation of project monitoring system • Undertake monitoring of projects regularly and submit monitoring reports to the Program Committee (ProCom) • Ensure systematic collection, recording and analysis of project data to support the Program Department in decision making • Analyze project monthly reports from the field and financial statements and provide relevant feedback in a timely manner to Project Managers and Program Director • Assist in the preparation of reports to donors and ProCom (quarterly, 6 monthly and annual) • Provide translation (Thai to English, English to Thai), both verbal and documents, as requested by Program Director • Support the process of new project proposal development including survey, participatory community planning, data analysis, project design and proposal writing • Support and facilitate arrangement / logistics of Program Director’s and donor’s monitoring visits to projects • Identify potential cooperation partner organizations and participate in networking and coordination with such partners as required • Facilitate forums for exchange of ideas both internally and externally • Participate in program staff recruitment to ensure the best potential staff in projects
Preferred candidates are expected to fulfil the following: Aged 30+ years preferred Bachelor Degree in one or more of the following : Social Development, Community Development, Social Science, or any other relevant field. Minimum of 3 years experience in development projects with NGOs Experienced in program management and recruitment Ability to successfully coordinate with Government organizations, International Organizations and network with NGOs. In-depth understanding and knowledge of the issues of Globalization impact, Child’s Rights, Human Rights, Ethnic cultures, Project Cycle Development, Human Trafficking, HIV/AIDS issue,etc. Understanding of diversity in working environment Ability to handle work efficiently and accurately under time constrains Strong computer skills (Including Microsoft Office proficiency) Current driver’s license for a car a must Excellent public relation and communication skills Excellent English both verbal and written competency Knowledge of Information Technologies an advantage Hands on and able to perform work independently Abilty to travel to projects sites for extended periods
