December sees the launch of a significant new event in Bangkok’s cultural calendar. FRESH a festival of international video art and short film will take place at Bangkok CODE.
From 6th to the 8th of December, Bangkokians will be able to see a remarkable selection of 22 international and 27 Korean groundbreaking experimental videos and short films fresh from the studios of well-known and emerging international artists. This festival is hosted by the School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) in collaboration with the Bangkok CODE.
Invited exclusively for the festival are two of the world’s leading international video art curators. Guest Curators Hanspeter Ammann (Switzerland) and Shin Jin Sik (Korea) will provide audiences with the opportunity to highlight exactly what makes this selection unmissable.
On the 6th, 7th and 8th of December, the screening program will be followed by an innovative outdoor audio-visual event put together by artists, DJs and VJs from Thailand, Denmark, France, UK and Korea.
