Chicago style jazz at Rasta Cafe
The other evening I spent a few hours in the Chiang Mai Rasta Cafe.
While I was there, I felt as though I had magically traveled to a jazz club in Chicago USA.
The 5 piece band was fantastic. They played non stop from 9.30 pm to 12.30 am and later into the night. Great pieces from dizzie gisellespie and the trumpeter has written music which they performed.
Be sure to listen to great jazz on Mondays and Tuesdays at the Rasta Cafe on the north side of the moat at Sri poom road. Hope to see you there next week.
