The Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2011
The year 2011-2012 wil be the great years for Thai people to commemorate three auspicious occasions:
* The 84th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the King,
* The 80th Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen.
* The 60th Birthday Anniversary of His Royal Higness the Crown Prince.
According to the above reason as wel as the awareness of global warming which is now adays a serious problem of many countries all over the world, the International Horticultural Exposition : The Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2011 therefore was approved by the Cabinet since 2 September 2008
Theme : Reducing global warming to save planet earth and to improve the quality of life
The theme will be convened from the concept of 3Gs (Generation, Garden, Greenitude) and 3Rs (Reuse, Reduce, Recylcle) Which has been conceptualized to educate the children and the youth who are the future of the country to love and care for nature. Also, to teach them the importance of planting trees, appreciate the values of trees, and grow them with the sense of responsibility to wards the green and healthy environment, to lift their spirits to protect the green planet and help solve the problem of global warming through reducing exploitation of energy resources by reusing and recycling.
